The Committee of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion agreed to draft a letter of support for the community and its safety for consideration by the City Council. This resolution will be presented Oct. 13 at the Committee of the Whole and regular council meetings at 7:00. This is the first step towards establishing a queer board and/or making Lansing a Sanctuary City.
